We use LOOP integrated with Klaviyo; the setup at times has been a little confusing. For example, I only recently realized that partial billing information isn’t passed to Klaviyo, so our partial and fully out-of-stock email flows were somewhat redundant. I reached out to both LOOP and Klaviyo regarding this issue and found that, generally, LOOP support is not very forthcoming with solutions. As someone entirely new to LOOP, rather than explaining, ‘This isn’t possible in Klaviyo, but you can easily enable the LOOP notification’, it really felt like hard work to get to what was a fairly easy fix.
On other occasions, support have seem disinterested and rude, almost. I enquired about whether it’s possible to preview LOOP notifications with real customer data to see exactly how they’ve been delivered to customers and to check the messaging and email variables. It required a fair amount of back and forth before the question was understood, and upon realizing this isn’t a functionality that LOOP has enabled, the agent simply ended the conversation with ‘okay’.
Loop has helped us provide a seamless experience for subscription customers, with new features and integrations being added regularly to help us grow our program even more. The Loop platform is easy to navigate, and their support team is extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend to other brands, especially those that are already using Shopify.
Excellent subscription app, great reporting, robust integration. However our migration from Woo to Loop was extremely painful, with missed deadlines, incomplete data, and several other issues. Whilst our developer was eventually able to resolve this by finding a way to speak to their senior teams, the whole thing took a lot longer than expected. Likewise unexpected changes/upgrades to our bundle builder with no warning has meant 4 stars rather than 5.
