At first the bundle seemed to work great, took a little time to get it set up properly but not too bad. The trouble came when my first orders using the bundle came in. The Maxbundle was only supposed to discount a specific bundle, instead it discounted all the items in the cart and I lost a lot of profit, almost costing me money! The app with a fatal bug - the "Frequet Buy Together" - even I checked the box "select all FBT products to get the discount", the discount items could still be purchased without the main item. I raised this issue to the customer service and they asked me to try other bundle app!

Not only did they switch to a paid setup right before Black Friday, but their app also can't handle customers who add more products to their cart after making a bundle. One day into our Black Friday sale and I've had to deal with more unhappy customers than I deal with in a month. Genuinely wish I could get my money back from this.

EDIT: Unfortunately, another one of those things that seemed too good to be true. The Free Forever plan became a paid plan overnight. Another one in a series of scams with false promises. I wonder how long Shopify will allow this behaviour? Nice app, do all the simple tasks I need, fast support. I haven't tested all the functionalities, but what I need works great - for now.
