I can't speak to its effectiveness in conversions/upsells, but I can tell you that their customer support is fantastic! I'm on the Horizon theme and needed some help in setting up the app in the cart drawer and on my product pages (again, because I'm on Horizon). Both Suki and Ruba were able to solve each issue in a matter of minutes. Great support! [Update] Have had a few more occasions to work...

Dealeasy solved a bulk discount problem I've been having for months! Customer support is so responsive and helpful. Fixing a conflict between the app and my theme, and going as far as customizing the app's appearance for me. I wish they had a tip jar because they've seriously earned it.

Very easy to use app, most things work straight out of the box all the while giving you customisation options. Everything is as described and the free tier is more than enough to try it out, while the other tiers are very reasonably priced. 10/10 I must also note that the support was extremely responsive, i had a small issue on my end, and within a 12 minute call they were able to remotely fix it...
